Steel Coil Slitting Line

We offer a comprehensive range of steel coil slitting line, which is available in different specifications and grades as per the needs of our customers. This metal steel coil slitting line is used for cutting the width of the coils into smaller coils of variable thickness. For further operations on the equipments strips are coiled after slitting. The drives used on slitter, coiler and uncoiler are D.C. drives so as to retain different mandrel speeds thereby attaining constant line speed. Apart from this, for faster speeds and thinner strips a loop pit is provided for installation before recoiling with tensioner equipment. The slitting line is used for slitting wide width coils into smaller width coils in varying thickness. The strips are coiled after slitting so as to feed for further operations on the equipment as required.

The drives used on uncoiler, slitter and re-coiler are D.C. drives so as to have varying mandrel speeds and thus attain the line speed as constant. For thinner strips and for higher speeds a loop pit is provided with a tensioner equipment to be installed before recoiling.
